The film depicts Jewish life in Kochi, a seaside city in Kerala, India, today. The Kochi Jews are India’s oldest Jewish community, with suspected roots dating back to King Solomon’s reign. The majority of Kochi Jews went to Israel after Israel’s founding, and currently, there are only 27 Jews left in Kochi. The film explores a neglected chapter of human migration in history while expressing human ideas and feelings.
