Modi will again speak to people of Indian descent when he visits Israel in July for a three-day trip. There could be up to 4,000 Jews from the country who moved to Israel. His last event like this was almost a year ago in Kenya.
Vijay Chauthaiwale, the head of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s foreign department, is making a lot of preparations for an event that will be held in Tel Aviv on July 5. During Modi’s trip, he’ll be the first Indian PM to go to Israel.
Asked by ET, Chauthaiwale said, “We expect 4,000 Indian Jews who moved to Israel to come to the event.”
